Green Diamond is an enthusiastic supporter of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI^sm) Program, a comprehensive set of principles that promote the practice of sustainable forestry. Green Diamond's policy is to meet, or exceed, the requirements of SFI.

All of Green Diamond's forestlands and our lumber manufacturing facilities have been certified in independent audits as being in compliance with the SFI^sm program. Our California timberlands were recently certified for the second consecutive time by independent auditors as meeting the SFI requirements.
